Actimax

Actimax was a new business start up established by a well-known entrepreneur in Southeast England in 1997. The company aimed to break into the lucrative Computer Telephony Market. It needed assistance in constructing a Strategy and Business Plan to get the company of the ground.

The company commissioned Convergent Solutions to assist in the creation of the company's business plan and mission statement. In addition it needed a Marketing Strategy and the implementation of a Marketing Program to get the company of the ground.

Convergent Solutions delivered a one year marketing Strategy and Plan that was very focused and aimed at establishing the Brand and to generate high quality enquiries. We helped recruit, train, and target, a telesales team. We also assisted in the set up of the Contact Management system.

We created a radio jingle and developed a campaign to generate leads.

This would be supported and supplemented by the telesales team.

Outcome
With an initial budget of about £30,000 from Actimax, and additional financial support from Cable and Wireless and Ascom to the tune of a further £20,000, we created a prospect bank worth about £3,000,000.00 within the first 6 months. In addition the company generated revenues of £600,000.00 from the sales of systems for the first 6 months. The telesales were generating between 80 and 120 qualified leads per month. This telesales team was considered to be the best in the industry by major network carriers and system manufacturers in the industry. This in turn helped establish Actimax as a premier league dealer within a year.
