Mitel Telecommunications

Mitel Telecommunications is a world leader in the development and supply of telecommunication systems. In the UK, Canada and the USA it is a leading provider of phone systems to the corporate market.

Mitel wanted to put together a marketing campaign for two products aimed at the UK Small and Medium Enterprise market. Mitel invited offers from a number of agencies including Convergent Solutions to bid for the contract. After a competitive bidding process Convergent Solutions won this major contract.

Mitel awarded the contract to Convergent Solutions for the following reasons;

  • Convergent Solution's extensive experience in marketing technology products to the SME.
  • Our understanding of the third party channel model.
  • The creative concept that we proposed with the key messages that spanned across 3 different media.
  • The speed and simplicity of working with Convergent Solutions.
  • Our ability to buy prime media space cost effectively.
  • Our background in producing radio advertising in the business to business environment.
  • Our understanding of the information technology and telecommunications market.

Once awarded the contract we produced radio and printed media, which you can view by clicking on the icons below.

The campaign we produced for them was very successful. The final response rate was double the total number of enquiries that were targeted.

The success of this campaign led Convergent Solutions being retained by Mitel for future marketing campaigns. This led to a second campaign on a different product and channel to market. Mitel was so impressed by what we produced that they have now recommended our service to their own third party channel.

We have also been commissioned by Mitel to carry out a report on how to improve the productivity of the Call Centre when liasing with the third party channel.
