The Convergent team comes from blue-chip backgrounds and all have hands-on experience of SME companies. In our experience, solutions from Corporate companies cannot simply be shrink-wrapped to fit SMEs. This area is one of the least understood segments of business and as a company we always aim to provide practical cost effective solutions. Rachel Harvey - Client Services Manager

Rachel works as our clients services manager. Rachel manages all the back office and admin functions for the associate consultants at Convergent. Rachel comes from a strong academic background, outside of work she teaches music to students. Fully conversant with the latest IT packages Rachel is the admin and customer service backbone for Convergent.

Jose Vincent -

Jose has over 15 years experience in the telecommunications industry. His career in telecoms began with Siemens where he rapidly rose to become the youngest regional sales manager in the company. After Siemens Jose worked joined Cable and Wireless Communications where amongst other roles, he was major bids manager responsible for multi - million pound deals. After a short secondment to the chief executive, Jose decided he wanted to work in the rapidly growing SME market. To this end, Jose went into channel management for CWC. Here he became involved with major marketing campaigns embracing radio, internet and press. This interest in SME marketing motivated him to establish his own business Convergent Solutions in 1997. Outside Of Convergent, Jose is heavily involved in regeneration of inner city areas through technology. His views and proposals on these issues are much in demand by local councils and academic institutions.

Robert Conlon -

Robert's specialism lies in new technology business reports writing, sales and management training. Robert's aim with Convergent is to supply his clients with effective deliverable solutions that positively effect both individual and team behaviour. Robert has worked in team management for Sainsbury's, Barclays and Guardian Royal Exchange. He has consulted for organisations diverse as the Department of Social Security, Mitel and BT. Robert is a published writer in the field of new technologies and has recently been awarded a Masters degree from the University of Manchester in recognition of his work in this field.

Glenn Scanlon -

Glenn's breadth of experience is unique in the marketplace. Originally trained in the Royal Air Force as a communications technician his drive and ambition led him to progress through a broad range of roles, from sales engineer to account manager, sales manager and most latterly business manager. From a family background of successful small businesses, Glenn also learnt a lot of the challenges facing young businesses when he spent 2 years assisting his brother setting up a communications dealership in New Zealand. Glenn has a passion for stimulating change (i.e. constant improvement) in all areas of a business.
